Charity Support
![]() The Salvation Army Ringbells.org is a website where volunteers go to sign up to ring bells beside Salvation Army red kettles during the Christmas season. Ringbells.org volunteers take the place of paid bell ringers, thus more money for our direct services of feeding and helping those in need. We didn't know how to get the word out about the ringbells.org site until we became friends with the people at the Portland Area Radio Council. Because of the influence and massive reach of Radio, The Salvation Army in the Portland Metro area was able to recruit so many volunteers through ringbells.org! So many, in fact, that we were able to raise over $44,000 more than we did the previous year, money that will help to provide for our neediest families and children. We couldn't have achieved this without the impact of Radio. Portland Area Radio Council's – Nonprofit Spot bank Program
